New to filing under 1099 can you help?

This is the first time I am working as a private contractor and will be filing under 1099. I have always done my own taxes. Is there some sort of software or program that can guide me through the process? Do you think I should just go to a tax pro or even a CPA? I will also have W-2s from my previous job this year. I've saved all my receipts and paperwork that I thought would be relevant. I would like to know what are my best options because I've always tried to be self sufficient and a little cheap for that matter and paying someone else to do my taxes has never appealed to me but I know we all have to do what we have to do.
