Does being induced hurt worse that going in labor naturally?

Doc wants to induce me either this Friday, or Monday.. My due date was Last Saturday. I'm really nervous, I am not so sure i can handle the pain as it is, and I heard being induced hurts alot worse.. Can any1 give me some advice, or maybe share their experience.. that would help!! Thank you all!
